Jesse Beard, D.O.
Dr. Beard is a Farmington native and returned to his hometown community after completing a Sports Medicine fellowship at the MedStar Orthopedic Institute in the Baltimore and Washington DC areas where he worked alongside the team physicians for several area professional and collegiate sports teams, including the NFL Baltimore Ravens and NHL Washington Capitals. The Sports Medicine fellowship was a great opportunity to hone cutting-edge surgical techniques and learn how to optimize return to sport for athletes.
Dr. Beard is excited to be back in his home town community and treating athletes of all types. In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Beard’s areas of focus include joint replacement surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder, fracture care, and general orthopedics.
Dr. Beard believes in treating each patient with their individual goals in mind. He believes in the shared decision making process between him and his patients and always ensures his patients are well informed on their problems and their treatment options.
